The Shalev Center for Jewish Personal Growth is founded on the belief that an essential key to psycho-spiritual health is Torah study that is EXPERIENTIAL, holistic and thus deeply relevant and personal. PROGRAMS: Through our classes, seminars & retreats, the Shalev Center offers an innovative approach to transformation & healing in a Jewish framework. We teach participants TOOLS for making ancient Jewish wisdom readily applicable to their 21st century lives. Our approach reveals how Torah can explicitly impact the tenor of our actions and our interactions; enhancing our relationships with our loved ones, our communities, ourselves and, in the end, with God.
PSYCHOLOGICAL SERVICES: The Center offers a nurturing healing space within which clients can engage in personal growth on a deep level and within a Jewish setting. We offer private as well as group therapy sessions where individuals learn and practice Torah-based skills which advance their own personal growth as well as the growth of others. Whether you are struggling spiritually, battling depression, racked with confusion, or facing challenges in your relationships, we offer a healing and supportive environment for you to access your own deepest wisdom and innate ability for growth and change.
ONLINE RESOURCE CENTER: The Center offers resources for the entire spectrum of Jewish learning institutions, synagogues and communities. We provide online materials on Jewish personal growth techniques and tools. We have a growing video-library of weekly Torah-commentaries which meld rich Jewish teachings with psychological insight and expressive arts.
EDUCATIONAL SERVICE PROVIDER: One of our goals is to share this unique approach with communities and institutions throughout Israel and North America. We currently have a training program for “Circle Works” facilitators and have further plans to develop a curriculum and handbook outlining Jewish Personal Growth approaches.
